Category : News
Marbella is the third city in Spain, after Madrid and Granada, to host the new service of renting shared bicycles, an initiative that will bring to the city the progressive implementation of nearly 500 bicycles. It is presented as a business but also as a commitment to sustainable mobility. This new service is offered through the OFO platform, which has a fleet of more than 10 million bicycles in 250 cities around the world. Users will have to download the OFO mobile application and, after locating the bike which is equipped with GPS, they can unlock the ‘smart lock’ system by scanning the QR code located on the bicycle’s padlock. The price of the service is 0.35 euros every 30 minutes and it starts from January in Marbella.
